RE: AMENDED: Shelter in Place Order for Omaha Tribe Reservation and CURFEW
WHEREAS: the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is federally recognized Indian tribe of organized under a constitution and bylaws approved by the Secretary of Interior on April 30, 1936, pursuant to Section 16 of the Indian Reorganization Act of June 18, 1934; and
The Governor announced on 04/09/2020 the issuance of new statewide Directed Health Measures (DHM). They're available for review below or on his website: https://governor.nebraska.gov/

First Case of COVID-19 in NNPHD District
The Village of Walthill is temporarily closing the public playground, baseball field and basketball court for public use in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Re-opening will be determined at a late date.

The Village Board of Trustees held a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday March 31, 2020, and moved to defer utility shutoffs until June 5, 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Residents are encouraged to still pay on their utility bills as they're able to.
By June 5, 2020, past due utility accounts must be brought current!
