New Cases of COVID-19 in NNPHD Health District

Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) is reporting two new positive cases of confirmed COVID-19 within the health district today.  Today's patient is a resident of Dixon County and Thurston County.  One patient is a male in his 70's and the other is a female in her 20's.  The public health investigations have been completed to find close contacts to ensure quarantine and isolation measures are being taken.  The sources of the infections have been identified.

As of Saturday evening, 05/02/2020, there have been 265 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston, and Wayne Counties.  The results of these tests includes 24 positive cases (Cedar - 4, Dixon - 12, Thurston - 6, and Wayne County - 2), 211negatives, and 30 tests currently pending results.
