New Cases of COVID-19 in NNPHD Health District

Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) is reporting twonew positive case of confirmed COVID-19 within the health district today.  Today's patient are residents of Dixon County and Thurston County.  One patient is a male in his 30's and the other is a female in her 30's.  The public health investigations have begun to find close contacts and ensure quarantine and isolation measures are being taken.  The sources of the infections have been identified.

As of Friday evening, 05/01/2020, there have been 263 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston, and Wayne Counties.  The results of these tests includes 22 positive cases (Cedar - 4, Dixon - 11, Thurston - 5, and Wayne County - 2), 208 negatives, and 33 tests currently pending results.
