One New Case of COVID-19 in NNPHD Health District

Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) is reporting one new positive case of confirmed COVID-19 within the health district today.  Today's patient resides in Dixon County and is a male under age 20 years.  The public health investigation has begun to find close contacts to ensure quarantine and isolation measures are being taken.  The source of the infection has been identified.

As of Sunday evening, 05/03/2020, there have been 265 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston, and Wayne Counties.  The results of these tests includes 25 positive cases (Cedar - 4, Dixon - 13, Thurston - 6, and Wayne County - 2), 212 negatives, and 28 tests currently pending results.
