Re: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

With recent announcements concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Village Board of Walthill would like to encourage each of our community members to do their part in minimizing or eliminating any threat of a village outbreak.

Please take the necessary steps to stop the spread of germs by continuing to do the most common hygienic practices, but just a few seconds longer and a little more often. Please take time to educate yourself on the symptoms of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) through resources provided by the various health facilities and organizations. Also understand that these symptoms could be from other ailments, like the flu or allergies, so please, stay calm in any situation that may present itself.

Our community members, the citizens of the Omaha Tribe, the citizens of the Winnebago Tribe and so many other surrounding communities are doing the best they can to stop the spread of this virus, through education, teamwork and practice. Let us all continue to do our part and help stop the spread of this virus.
