VILLAGE OF WALTHILL

A special meeting of the Chair and the Village Board of Trustees of Walthill, Nebraska was held at the Village Office in said village at 12:15 p.m., September 27, 2023.
Present: Board Chair Michael Grant, Trustees Waylon Oldman, Curtis Boschult and Trustee Gwen Porter arriving at 12:21 p.m. Trustee Aaron Brown was absent from the meeting. Also present: Lisa Beaudette, Clerk/Treasurer.
Visitor: None.
Notice of meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in three (3) public places, a designated method for giving notice, as shown by the certificate of posting notice on file at the Village Office. Notice of the meeting was simultaneously given to the Chair and Trustees and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt of notice and agenda are on file at the Village Office. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the public notice. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public.
Chair Grant called the meeting to order at 12:18 p.m. and made the public aware of the availability of the open meeting laws.
Chair Grant opened the 2023-2024 Budget Hearing and Budget Summary at 12:18 p.m. for support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations.
Trustee Porter arrived at 12:21 p.m.
There were no questions by the public. The Board Trustees discussed the budgeted amounts.
Chair Grant closed the 2023-2024 Budget Hearing and Budget Summary at 12:32 p.m.
Chair Grant opened the 2023-2024 Special Hearing to Set Final Tax Request at 12:32 p.m. for support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations.
Details of the tax request for 2023-2024 fiscal year budget were discussed. There were no questions by the public.
Chair Grant closed the 2023-2024 Special Hearing to Set Final Tax Request at 12:34 p.m.
As there was no further business, a motion was made by Boschult, seconded by Oldman to adjourn. Upon roll call vote, the following voted aye: Grant, Porter, Oldman and Boschult. Nay: None. Absent: Brown. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 12:35 p.m. September 27, 2023.
