New Case of COVID-19 in NNPHD Health District
Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) is reporting one new positive case of confirmed COVID-19 within the health district today. Today's patient is a resident of Dixon County. The patient is a male in his 20's. The public health investigation has been completed; close contacts are being identified and contacted to ensure quarantine and isolation measures are being taken. The source of the infection has been identified.
As of Thursday evening, 04/30/2020, there have been 252 COVID-19 tests reported for people living in the NNPHD Health District of Cedar, Dixon, Thurston, and Wayne Counties. The results of these tests includes 20 positive cases (Cedar - 4, Dixon - 10, Thurston - 4, and Wayne County - 2), 204 negatives, and 28 tests currently pending results.
